1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website, requesting a quote or tendering a shipment to Upright Global, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Services
Upright Global provides international air freight, ocean freight, road freight, express courier, customs brokerage, warehousing and shipment tracking. Services are subject to capacity, country restrictions and our published tariffs.
3. Shipper responsibilities
You warrant that all goods tendered are accurately described, lawful to ship, properly packed, marked and labelled, and accompanied by complete documentation.
Prohibited items include currency, dangerous goods not declared per IATA/IMDG, perishable goods without temperature control booking, and items restricted by origin or destination authorities.
4. Liability and limits
Liability for loss or damage is limited to the lower of (a) declared value, (b) actual repair/replacement cost, or (c) limits set by the Montreal Convention, CMR, or Hague-Visby Rules as applicable. Optional insurance up to 110% of declared value is available at quote time.
5. Charges and payment
Quoted rates are valid for 14 days. Final charges may include re-weigh adjustments, fuel surcharges, customs duties, taxes, demurrage and detention. Invoices are due within 14 days.
6. Customs and duties
You authorise Upright Global to act as your customs agent. You are responsible for accurate HS codes, origin certificates and any duties or taxes assessed by destination authorities.
7. Force majeure
Upright Global is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control including weather, strikes, pandemics, governmental action or armed conflict.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes are settled by arbitration at the SIAC under its rules in force.
