Shipping Policy

The operating rules for shipments tendered to Upright Global — transit times, prohibited items, packaging, claims and refunds.

Transit times

Express Courier: 1–4 business days door-to-door for major lanes.

Air Cargo: 3–7 business days airport-to-airport.

Ocean Cargo (FCL): 18–45 days port-to-port depending on lane.

Trucking (Cross-border): 2–10 business days.

Prohibited and restricted items

Currency, bullion, negotiable instruments.

Live animals (without prior arrangement).

Hazardous materials not declared per IATA/IMDG.

Illegal narcotics, counterfeit goods, perishable foods without cold-chain booking.

Packaging requirements

Goods must be packed for the rigours of international transport. Pallets must be ISPM-15 heat-treated. Lithium batteries require UN-spec packaging and Section II/IB labelling.

Insurance

Optional all-risk insurance up to 110% of declared value. Coverage includes loss, damage, theft and general average.

Claims

Concealed damage: notify within 7 days of delivery.

Visible damage: note on POD at delivery.

Loss: claim within 30 days of expected delivery date.

Submit claims to claims@uprightgloballogistics.com with photos, packing list and commercial invoice.

Refunds and SLA credits

Service credits apply per our Service Level Agreement when shipments miss committed transit by more than the published tolerance, excluding customs holds and force-majeure events.
