Shipment data: sender/receiver details, addresses, package contents and customs declarations.

Usage data: pages visited, device type, IP address, cookies.

2. How we use your data

Operate shipments end-to-end, including customs filing and last-mile delivery.

Authenticate your account and protect against fraud.

Send service notifications and (with consent) marketing.

Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data with carriers, customs authorities, and IT processors strictly as needed to perform the service. We do not sell personal data.

4. International transfers

Because we operate globally, your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We use Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.

5. Retention

Shipment records are retained for 7 years to meet customs and accounting laws. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, PDPA), you may access, correct, delete, port or restrict processing of your data. Contact privacy@uprightgloballogistics.com.

7. Security

We use TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest, role-based access, MFA on internal systems and 24/7 SOC monitoring.
